He is most famous for his parts in the film Terry Watson in Water Rats as well as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters and as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. He was born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery moved to Australia at the age of 17 and began studying acting at NIDA.
