Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin has been an actress across Canada and New Zealand for over a decade. Born in Winnipeg and was raised in Wellington Paquin made her acting debut portraying Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11, making her the second-youngest winner of the award in Oscar history. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actor and New Zealander, who, as a kid won an Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding supporting actress. The actress played the fierce daughter of Holly Hunter's character on the film The Piano. In response to an audition, Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter a Scottish pianist. Flora McGrath is the daughter of a muted Scottish musician, who emigrated from Scotland to New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. When she was a teenager the family relocated from Canada to the United States. Paquin made her debut when she was a kid, with the role of the Jane Eyre main character in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre as well as a major part on the film Fly Away Home. Paquin portrayed Frankie Addams as a child in the television film adaptation Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin was also in the role of Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 movie Amistad. She was a teenager as teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) and A Walk on the Moon (1999) and played the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
